How to take care of your feet?

In order to have beautiful, soft and smooth feet we need to take care of them every day. We suggest a few easy tricks for feet care. Try them and you will surely soon enjoy incredible results.

 Massage with essential oils

The lavender oil is distinguished not only with its pleasant aroma, but also with antibacterial properties. (Before use make an allergy test on a small area of your skin.) Apply it every night on washed and dry feet, rub it with light massage movements.

After the procedure put on cotton socks.

Tighten the pores

Dissolve 2 cups of Epsom salt in 4 liters of warm water and soak your feet for 15 minutes. Repeat the procedure two times a day. The Epsom salt has astringent properties and reduces the perspiration, and it will also contribute to the destruction of microorganisms.

Dab with preparation for treatment of acne

Apply on your feet gel containing benzoyl peroxide. These preparations are effective in the acne treatment, but with the same success destroy and the bacteria causing unpleasant odor of the feet. You’ll find them in most pharmacies.


Before puting on socks, sprinkle your feet with talc or powder for the feet. The purpose of these products is to absorb the moisture in order to prevent the occurrence of conditions for the propagation of bacteria that cause unpleasant odor.

To absorb the moisture you can also use corn flour, and to neutralize the smell – baking soda.

When to seek medical help?

Visit your doctor if you have a fungal infection or your feet sweat profusely even when you are not wearing sneakers. Your condition may require treatment with an antibiotic or an antifungal drug, which is sold with a prescription.

Except the daily care you take for your feet, you must also be very careful with the shoes you are wearing. The wearing of improperly fitting or uncomfortable shoes can cause a lot of trouble to your feet.
